Heather Dorrestijn

Heather entered the financial services industry more than 25 years ago with one primary goal in mind: to help people grow and reach all of their retirement goals. Today, she remains as driven to help people live their best retirement life as she was when she first started.

Heather and her husband, Rob, founded First Fidelity Tax and Insurance to provide holistic financial planning that serves all their clients’ needs — from retirement, tax and legacy strategies to insurance, Medicare and more. But she is equally passionate about investing in her staff and creating a positive office culture where everyone supports and inspires each other.

Heather can provide both insurance and investment products and services as she has passed her Series 65 securities exam and has obtained insurance licenses in life, annuity, health, and property and casualty. She encourages all of her clients to start by identifying their hopes, dreams and goals, then works with them to develop strategies and tools that can help make those a reality.

Longtime residents of New Braunfels, Texas, Heather and Rob have been married since 1999 and are the proud parents of three adult sons: Colton, Jack and Max. “My children are the love of my life,” Heather says, adding that she is blessed to have such an exciting family.

When she isn’t helping clients or spending time with Rob and her boys, Heather enjoys traveling, traveling and traveling some more. She also enjoys reading, hanging out with her girlfriends and loving on her dogs, Amber and Rojo.
